Dr. Jonathon Eichner

Dr. Jonathon Eichner, PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Eichner received his undergraduate degree in business management from BYU-Idaho in 2010 and later graduated from Idaho State University in 2014 with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During his first year of practice he completed a 1-year residency program through Evidence in Motion focused on manual therapy techniques to improve patients recovery times and overall satisfaction. After completing the residency program he was able to sit for the Orthopedic Certified Specialty exam and earn his specialty in Orthopedics (OCS).

His desire to pursue physical therapy began early on in high school after he suffered a serious leg fracture/ankle dislocation returning kicks for the varsity high school football team. The injury required emergency reconstructive surgery and extensive physical therapy. The rapid return to his love of sports and compassionate care he received from his physical therapist gave him the desire to pursue the field as a profession. His greatest enjoyment is providing that same hope and compassion he received from his physical therapist to all patients that walk through the door.

Having a strong background in multiple sports growing up naturally led to a gradual love for the game of golf. His experience includes working with professional golfers on the Web.com tour to the weekend warrior/High handicapper looking to improve his mobility and game. Helping athletes of all skill levels and ages maximize their potential along with reaching their playing goals is his main focus and provides him with the greatest amount of fulfillment.

He has been a member of the Utah Golf Association for several years and is currently a member of the Arizona Golf Association. He is also a member of the Sports Physical Therapy Section Golf Performance SIG that researches, discusses, and applies different methods to improve golf performance. When he is not in the clinic or on the course he loves to spend time with his wife Amber and their family in the outdoors.
